Don’t just leave it until you have an oil leak! Your suspension is probably the second most important part of your motorcycle after the engine. Why have a great sounding motorcycle that isn’t very comfortable to ride, is spongy under breaking and leaves you wanting in corners?
Ideally, for normal road use, your shock absorber should be serviced every 3 years (although you could push it to 5 dependent on milage and use). For track-day use and racing this period is reduced.
Service includes
Full strip down of the shock absorber
Inspection of all parts for wear and possible damage
Strip down and through clean of damping pistons and valves
Piston Rod polished
Rebuilt with new oil seals, dust seals, O-rings and bushes
High quality Shock Oil
Recharged with Nitrogen Gas
If any wear or damage is evident, we report to you before undertaking any additional work, so you don’t have any surprises.
Please note:
Costs are based on single shock absorber & supplied to us loose.
Standard service does not include cost for bushes or bearings.
Please ensure the shock absorber is reasonably clean before reaching us. Extra charges may be applied for added cleaning requirements.
If posting to us please ensure you include a note with your name, address, contact details, make, model & year of bike. Along with a brief description of requirements.
Any extra parts required will be charged accordingly after permission received to continue.
